Troy McDonough, PT, MSPT, CSCS
Physical Therapist, Masters of Science in Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Base Location: Hartford, CT

Troy has a strong background in manual therapy and exercise prescription and provides rehabilitation for all types of orthopedic and sports injuries. Having a wealth of athletic experience including competing at the national and world-class level in two sports, coaching at the NCAA Division I level, and directing the rehab and conditioning of College, Professional and Olympic Athletes, Troy has a unique understanding of athletes and athletic injuries. In addition to orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, Troy currently develops the strength and speed programs for several world-class track athletes and NFL prospects. He also designs and directs an individualized sport enhancement program for high school and college athletes.

Troy earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 and a Bachelors Degree in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Exercise Science in 1999 from the University of Montana. Troy is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

During his tenure at UM, Troy was an NCAA Division I All-American in the Decathlon, and an All-Conference High Hurdler and Decathlete. In 2000, Troy trained as a full time athlete before suffering a season ending back injury. While earning his Master's Degree Troy worked as an Assistant Track coach at UM. Coaching decathletes, heptathletes, jumpers and throwers Troy helped develop strength and conditioning programs as well as assisting in event coaching. In 2006-2007, Troy resumed his athletic career competing internationally as a push athlete on The United States Bobsled Team.
